Your child can tick, circle, draw, write or simply talk. They do not need to complete every part.

Wondering is allowed. The printable gives children words and pictures for some common school questions while leaving room for their own thoughts.
Friends, toilets, lunchtime, learning, the classroom and who to ask for help.
Goodbyes, noise, mistakes, finding the way around and not knowing what happens next.
Knowing the plan, knowing who will collect them, breathing slowly and asking a trusted adult.
A large space to write or draw something that isn't already on the sheet.
You do not need to work through the boxes in order. A child might point to one picture, draw something completely different or decide they do not want to talk yet. The useful part is giving them a safe opening when they are ready.
The sheet ends with a simple Collyvale message: “It's okay to wonder. Asking for help is a brave thing to do.”
Continue together
Ollie's story explores the feelings underneath a very brave face, while the companion printables help children and grown-ups prepare practically and talk together.
