BEYOND PEBBLE HOLLOW, WHERE THE PATH CLIMBS TOWARDS THE STARS

The Professors’ Workshop.

The curious corner of Collyvale where questions, experiments and ideas are always welcome.

Sometimes an idea works. Sometimes it wobbles, fizzes or goes bloop. That doesn’t mean it’s finished. It might just need another try.

WHAT NEXT?

Where shall we explore next?

FOR GROWN-UPS

When things don’t work first time.

Children can find mistakes and failed attempts frustrating. The Workshop treats “not yet” as part of discovering rather than as getting something wrong. The invention machine always wobbles on the first try, so every child gets to practice having another go.

For example: if a tower falls over, you might say, “That one wobbled. Shall we make the bottom wider and try again?”

Try asking: “What could we try differently?” or “What did we learn from that wobble?”
