A place where small things can become quite important.
The stream bends round a willow, past more pebbles than anybody has ever counted. Some are smooth, some are speckled, and one found its way into Ollie’s story as the “very important pebble”. Which one? This page is not telling.
A dry path leads towards the water. From here you can watch the stream slip between rounded stones, and see the willow leaning over the bank.

Some pebbles have pale veins. Others are spotted, striped or smooth all over.
The stones stay, but the light, fallen leaves and little ripples never arrange themselves quite the same way twice.
There is no correct answer, and nobody needs to take a stone home to imagine its story.
